I know I just read it on Facebook!! Mixed emotions, I'm happy b/c that means more Edward, but that also means I have to wait like another year?!

I honestly don't think I will be seeing either part 1 or 2, it's not that I don't like Rob, it's just I hate Summit, Melissa Rosenberg, Smeyer, and Breaking Dawn. And I don't think I will be able to sit threw 2 parts of this movie. Oh! and yes Summit is copying Harry Potter by making Breaking Dawn into two films.

@savannah lol They aren't copying HP, it's not like they were the first ones to split their movies. Also, I'm pretty sure you'll see the movies b/c who can resist?

I think it is ridiculous they are making people wait over a year to see the next installment. It would be wiser to do a late June early July date for BD1 and then November for BD2, just as it was for Eclipse and New Moon. Plus it's better to do it sooner that way people don't lose interest, because I'm sure several will, I might be amongst them. Over a year? Honestly Summit, that is absurd.

^Antonia Cullen, I don't want to start trouble with you. But this is the second major book to film franchise that is making the last book into a two part film, guess which is the first one, Harry Potter. And I'm also not a big twi fan anymore, a few months ago I finally woke up and realized how truly horrible the whole Twilight series is.

@Savannah,
ITA with you on Breaking Dawn, I may see the first film, but I certainly will not see the second film unless they do a total overhaul adaptation from the book to the screen. This is were many Twilight fans disagree with how the last book of the series turned out. I do want to see the wedding and honeymoon but, I do not want to see Jacob imprinting on a baby or the dumb battle between the Volturi. I luv Rob but I certainly do not like Breaking Dawn.

^Iluvthemovie, Thank you!!!! BD was my least favorite book of the series when I was a fan. But now I see that book for what it really is, a really bad fanfiction. The whole plot of that story was so far fetched, and there was to much drama going on. BD in 2 parts <DNW

I know that some of the fans did not like Breaking Dawn, but it was my favorite book besides Twilight. My favorite parts of all the books was the relationship and romance between Edward and Bella and the Cullen family. I would not have wanted anything to happen to any of the Cullens or the wolfpack at the end. A fight at the end would have been horrible. I admit that the imprinting of Jacob on Resemesee was weird.

@OCD56
I respect your opinion. I believe if Stephanie Meyer was basing her books from the Twilight Saga on authors like Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen and William Shakespeare you would put in the angst, the conflict, the sacrifice and then the final resolution into the last part of the Saga. As Savannah mentioned it is like bad fanfiction, I have read better fanfiction on this part of the Saga and it was great. I am so disappointed because I paid good money for the book and secondly it really ruined the whole romance of Bella and Edward. I know many disagree with me, however, I also know many do agree that this was the worst book of the Twilight Saga.

I'm happy with the news, I'm excited to see more Edward :)

If it take another year and half or to see the final book on film and have it be EXCELLENT, then I am all for the wait until November 2011 to see BD 1 and hopefully the following June 2012 we'll see BD 2. They haven't even started filming BD yet, I am excited that they will break this apart and make it into two movies so that they can fit as much detail from the book as possible. This was such an excellent series of books for all ages to enjoy and fall in love with the possibility that even if in our imaginations, Edward Cullen existed. Rob just adds to that because of his natural charm and flirtatiousness he can't help but bring that to his character when he cracks a smile on a rare occasion or shows that affection or Bella, and willingness to fight to the death for her if he had to. So KUDOS to Summit & the cast & all the staff that it takes to make these movies for not rushing it and giving us the fans the movie we deserve and want to see!

I am thrilled that the main cast is all back! Not so thrilled that we have to wait so long to see the next installment. How long will it be then until the final installment is released?

In addition to my above comment and after reading through all the posts before mine, I agree, Breaking Dawn was my least favorite because of the imprinting of Jacob with Renesemee. That part is very disturbing and I hope they find a way of working around it, because I don't feel that the whole imprinting story line is really not an important part of the story and could be left out without us missing any part of it.

Thanks GOD I'am not alone in this madness of Twilight Saga...
ITA with u Savannah and ilovethemovies.
The movies of Twilight Saga ruin all the story of the books.

I love and hate BD and I cant stand it for 2 movies and more anything unimportant thing. Why they're not focusing on B/E Relationship beside all the crap.
I blame it on MR and SM
Bad Script and YES sell it as a Blockbuster movies and lose the true beautiful love story with more action, Blood, Jacob's abs, Newborn vampire and Love triangle

I will still see the movies but not many times like I did on Twilight (6 times + 2 copy DVD).

I'm back. I had to go watch Craig Ferguson. I am a big believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I am a big fan of Harry Potter also. But I was very upset when some the beloved characters were killed at the end. My favorite part of the whole Twilight Saga was at the very end of Breaking Dawn when Bella removed her shield from her mind so Edward was able to read her thoughts. If you did not like the ending of Breaking Dawn, please let me know some of your ideas of how you thought it should have ended instead.

@ OCD56 I love the ending the BD too cos it's really just E/B.
But BD can be more classy story if Jacob leave Bella's life in style and not imprint his love interest's baby.

the all end of BD cheaper the story cos SM make Jacob become a pedofil..ewww

In Style = I mean he pursuing another life and receive life not pivot in Bella's Life... GET a LIFE

@OCD56,

I luv Craig Ferguson when he has his fellow Scots i.e. Ewan MacGregor, Gerard Butler and McAvoy on his show it is hilarious.

Here are my issues why BD is my least favorite book of the Saga and why I will probably not see the film:

Pregnancy, vamps liquids are frozen including semen. They only have venom.

Jacob Imprinting on Edward and Bella's baby. He should have imprinted on Leah.

No real conflict during the battle between the Cullens, the Wolf Pack and their friends against the Volturi.

and anything related to any of the above issues in the book, especially how they turn Bella into a Vampire. It should have been to a more seductive transformation.

The last scene of the book I have no problem with, it is everything in between.

Ok for the two parts, but I don't like the imprintig. It's a stupid idea, and I think there is an another way to keep Jacob in the film. Please Melissa Rosenberg! No imprinting! You have made so much differents from the books, please do it with this thing too.

Just a quick shout out to erpatz,

I also saw Twilight 5 times at the movie theater and have seen it numerous times on DVD. However, I watched NM twice and did not purchase the DVD. I thought the characters lost their chemistry.

Good night ladies, I wish SM had delivered a better ending to Edward and Bella's fantastical romance. Sweet Dreams.

Breaking Dawn was a huge disappointment for me for so many reasons:
1.The wedding seemed rushed and I didn't feel the love between them.

2.The honeymoon was a HUGE disappointment. Yes it is YA but I have read some hot YA.I mean they drifted out into dark water WTH?? I thought someone ripped some pages from my book. Eclipse had me panting for more.

3.The whole baby thing really ruined it for me. I am a huge fan of horror, but that story line just didn't belong in this series. I would of rather had more intimate sex scene than all the gore.

4. What was the point of the story? It was all over the place, and then it lead to nothing. HUGE disappointment on the fight scene with the Volturi. N o I didn't want to see any of the main characters die but some could of been expendable.

5. I was hoping that possibly during the fight with the Volturi Bella would have been bitten.Then Edward would kinda just go ballistic and do away with most of the guards. Then he suck the venom out of her again, and take her away. Where he could transform her himself, and seeings how there love was so unique when he bites her his venom is not painful to her, and it could be a beautifully erotic transformation.

6. Bella and Edward were lost in this story. I know longer felt the connection between them, and it should of been even more present here.

Likes:

1. I fell in love with Jacob in this book. He was what kept me reading. I loved the storyline between him and Leah. It most definitely should of been her he imprinted on.It didn't bother me he imprinted on Renesmee, but that baby shouldn't of been in the story anyway.

I will go see the movies and I would definitely not mind if they altered this one. Give us some Edward Bella lovin give us a sexy transformation as I mentioned above, and with the fight scene.

God that means the whole bulls**t Rob/Kristen=Edward/Bella thing is going to go on for even longer. WAY TO MILK THIS CASH COW FOR ALL YOU CAN SUMMIT8***!!! So over the Twilight thing. BD will be a disaster(and hopefully as Summit are being so greedy)... a flop too.
We have ageless vamps who are going to be how old in reality by the time they get this filming over??? Love Rob to bits but I find it hard to believe he can pull off a 17 year old successfully
Hell they had him looking like an old man in NM. He will be 26? by the time the first of these two come out!!!
NOT going to bother with Eclipse so definitely will not see BD.

after reading through all the comments I can say that ITA with most ..especially @ Iluvthemovies + @ erpatz ..early June/July-2011 for BD-1 and Nov-BD-2..I would go and see both films as I love Rob! but like everyone I do hope summit will focus on the beautiful ",magic" ..lovestory between E/B that we all fell in love with on the first film!! and stop this nonsense about Jacob's abs ,and love triangle!..and like @ Iluvthemovies..I also wish the screenwriter MR delivers a better ending to Edward and Bella's fantastic romance!!!

do you not remember the end of eclipse where jacob and bella are talking about the vision and how she wants it and how jacob would have been the air and sun for her but he sees that edward was like a drug and she couldnt live w/o him. the point of the imprinting is that jacob is meant to be in her life someway, somehow. weird?...yes, but if you remember, edward can read minds, and he sees that jacob doesnt see her in a perverted way, but like a sister. I like the fact bella has to choose. it shows life is hard and fairy tales always come with a price.
